Step 2 of the plan

So now i think if the people who are looking into affiliate networking want to leave their website details in the comment box so i can put them in a links section, everyone can then visit each others sites and learn from these.

We can then help each other get those affiliate programs up and running.

So far on my site i have used the adsense feature that automatically comes with using blogger/blogspot, this is easy enough to find on your settings page. This gives me an easy readout on my dashboard under earnings to find out how many page views and clicks my ads have recieved. So far i have 1 but then again my site was only created last night.

Also if you check at the bottom of the page you will see three ad logos, these i have got from Google Networks Affiliate scheme at http://www.google.com/affiliatenetwork/ntn.html.

This is very easy to set up, all you need is a google account and then just to apply for different advertisers or products, the advertisers will send an email back if your site or account is accepted and they would like to use it. Then it is just a case of finding the ads which are relevant or the ones you think you can profit from the most. You may click on them to find examples of where these links will take you.

The Amazon link on the bottom though is totally different and is from the Amazon Associates scheme, for this you need an Amazon account and then you need to apply for the Associate scheme which is relatively easy or you can find the separate page through google. This when clicked will give you a percentage of whatever whoever buys from that link. My first affiliate network

So this is a blog that is going to be all about setting up an affiliate network, hence the name.
I hope you set out and achieve what you are hoping to do.

This is going to be a learning experience for me also so lets all learn together and help each other out because isn't that the main aim of having a network.

The aim of this eventually is to get people up to speed as well as myself on how to create, maintain and profit from affiliate programs and the internet as a whole.
